Vanilla Chai Tea - Gourmet Loose Leaf Tea

Vanilla adds a hint creaminess to this tea, a fantastic addition. Turn your bag upside down a few times prior to  using as spices tend to settle to the bottom of the bag during transport.

Grade: OP (Orange Pekoe)

Steep time: 5-10 minutes

Region: Travencore, Nuwara Eliya

Caffeine / Antioxidant level: Medium / High

Altitude: 4800 to 7600 feet above sea level

Luxury Ingredients: Black tea, Ginger, Cardamom, Coriander, Cinnamon, Cloves, Black Pepper, Calendula + Sunflower pedals, Natural flavors.

Hot tea: Bring water to a rolling boil. Place one teaspoon of tea in your cup, and let steep for about 5 to 10 minutes. Add milk and sugar to taste.

Iced Tea:  For making one quart of iced tea, simply place six teaspoons of tea leaves in a heat resistant pitcher. Then you will add 1 1/4 cups of freshly boiled water, and let steep for five minutes. Add ice water to your pitcher, garnish and sweeten to taste.
